True Lovers of God

Today's daily reflection from the Daily Gospel Organization stirred that desire to seek the Lord and His will for my life in a renewed way. I have come to rely on these daily reflections to anchor my morning prayer time. And it often feels like the message was tailored just for me! This was one of those mornings. The Lord has been calling me to a deeper surrender the last couple of years and the call is growing stronger (and louder)! I realize how often I still fall into wanting to be in control and clinging too much to the things of this world. Today was another wake up call to put on my pilgrim heart and long for the the things of heaven ... to become "a stranger on this earth". Does this message speak to your heart too?
